ROYAL CROWDY SLSC HAS GONE GREEN

You know the saying "we have so much sunshine at our club, that it's comes out our........"  (Well - you know the rest) - We have been made and offer that we could not refuse...in that we have Solar Panels attached to the club roof - These Solar Panels were donated to all Surf Clubs in the Lower North Coast Branch area from Crowdy Head to Pacific Palms by Godwins Green Energy of 5 Harbord Circuit Forster. Kim & Gina Godwin donation of the Solar Panel included the installation was accepted straight away by the committee of the 1.5kw panel will help in the rising cost of our power bill and in the 'off season' we will be putting power back into the main electrical 'grid'.

On Tuesday the 18th May in the rain, Steve McGowen (electrician Harrington) and he's crew work to put the Solar Panel and install the 'inverter' into the club. Steve who has kids in the 'nippers' of the Crowdy SLSC could see the advantages in cost this will make to the overall energy bill in the annual budget running cost.
