Crowdy Head Surf Life Saving Club

Crowdy Head Surf Life Saving Club is located at the entrance to Crowdy Head on the beautiful Crowdy Bay. We provide volunteer Surf Life Saving services on weekends from September to April every year. The club provides training and education for the achievement of Surf Life Saving Awards. A Nippers program runs every Sunday from 9.30 to 11.30 during the Surf Life Saving season.

INTRODUCING OUR NIPPERS TEAM . . .

This is Brad and he is one of our Age Managers for the Under 8’s. His daughter is a Nipper, and he started helping our club by being one of the parent helpers for her group last year. Brad is currently an associate member (non patrolling), and has decided to further his involvement with the club by completing his Bronze Medallion. Away from the surf club, Brad also volunteers with the local fire brigade, and we welcome his further involvement with the club. Thank you Brad for all of your volunteered time and hard work - we appreciate it!

If you would like to become a member and help our club, either as a parent helper, age manager, water safety, official or patrol person, please see our Director of Member Services, Neolie.

A big shout out to Scott and Marilyn who have worked hard over last weekend to remove all of the weeds from our grassed nippers area - your continued commitment and dedication to our club after all these years is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

As part of the Surf Life Saving Recycling Initiative to raise funds for surf clubs, our Club is planning on taking a bulk load of UNBROKEN BOTTLES and UNCRUSHED CANS to the recycling centre (as we unfortunately have not yet received the proper collection receptacles).

If you have any unbroken bottles or uncrushed cans you would like to donate to our club to assist with our fund raising, please deliver them to the clubhouse before 10am this Tuesday, 20th February 2018.

Thank you to those who have been collecting on our behalf.

High tides, bigger seas and a few blue bottles greeted our nippers today, limiting our activities slightly.

Congratulations to our Nipper of the week Finn, and Parent of the week, Ray, and another congratulations to our Branch Competitors and medal winners.
