Management meeting 18/12/2011

Saturday 3rd December 2011 5 Bronze & 1 Surf Rescue Certificate candidates successfully completed there assessments.

For SRC : Jakob Webber

Another assessment is being conducted at Pacific Palms Sunday 18th December all remaining candidates have been advised.

An Applied First Aid for Saturday 17th December 2011 candidates:

Adam Augey ♦ Alexander Irving ♦ Allan Davis ♦ Adam Eady ♦ Mattson, Keegan & Lisa Yerk ♦ Roy & Sharon Grimmett ♦ Belinda Donnellan

A Bronze/SRC course is scheduled for Start first Sunday after school returns with an assessment end of March. If progress is better then expected

an assessment will be conducted before this advertised date. Enrollment form is on the club notice board.

Interest in and IRB crewmans course is evident and this will be scheduled for the same time as the Bronze/SRC

Proficiency Sunday 27th Seen 25 members attend. Since then 2 "patrol day proficiencies" have been conducted. We should be able to have nearly

all patrolling members proficient by 31st December. Only competition members need their proficiencies in by 31st December. Members with injuries

will be able to do proficiency when fit.

Saturday & Sunday 3 members went to Port Stephens to attend Life Guard School

Completing this school enables then to be offered employment as casual Life Guards with Australian Life Guard Service over the Summer School Holidays

Due to lack of swell and Assessors our IRB driver trainees have not finished their course. This will be rectified in the new years as finally some swell

is around

We have taken possession of 2 trainer defib units. Having watched them in action, they will enhance our training substantially.
