Here is my first report for the upcoming season via the screen. 

The season has now begun in ernest with us holding our first rego day this past Saturday Sept.10th.  Withn the help of Al and Toni we managed to run just over thirty kids through their pool proficiencies and also with Darryl's assistance pulling off a rather good take on the Saturday raffle, not to mention the Friday night Joker Jackpot.

 

Going off of nipper numbers last season we have done over a quarter of the expected kids.  I thought that the turn out was fairly steady throughout the day.  We are planning to have three more sessions this coming week (Tues, Thurs,Sat).  I hope to have 90% done this week and will take bookings to do the ones that miss. 

We in JAG have discussed the possiblility of when the season has begun to do the proficiencies at Harrington in the lagoon on the day of nippers. 

The age managers are pretty much sorted, but we will see as always on the first day of nippers who will make up the teams(of two).  I am hoping that there will be a bronze medallion course to help encourage parent to become more involved with the club and kids. 

I have rambled on enough, but before I sign off I will send my apologies has I won't be able to attend the next meeting.  Can I send a replacement?
