Life Saving Report for
Management meeting 18/09/2011

The patrol roster has been completed and posted to the web site

The roster has been added to the club calender.

A branch club/patrol captains meeting is scheduled for Friday 16th September 2011 at Black Head SLSC, patrol captains will be advised vis SMS to attend if possible

Our gear inspection has be rescheduled to Saturday 17th September 2011 commencing 10:00am.

Damaged gear will be taken to phonix restoration, 2 boards at a time over the next few months.

One of our fuels was leaking out around the seam and has been discarded. A new SLSA approved bladder has been ordered. The other cell does not meet SLSA standards
in that there is no protection around fittings offered to the crew man, it will have to be replaced very soon.

The right hand leg straps have been removed from both IRB's in accordance with SLSA regulations. new crewmans adjustable to be fitted Saturday 16th September

The Rhino is showing sighs of rust which must be addressed ASAP to ensure maxium life of the vehicle.
The hand brake on the Rhino is non functional

The IRB trailer is in need of some repair work  - I will try to arrange thru persons at work.

The pylons as shown on the SLSA flyer for new flags was pictorial only and the are not available. Our existing pylons will have to be modified to suit the new flags.
Radios have been sent away for syncing to the system return date not yet finalised.

Construction of a second board rack will commence in mid October.

Keys to the patrol room will have to be issued to all patrol captains .
Proficency days are yet to be finalised but will be in October, November and Decembers dependant on Assessor availability
IRB proficiency will be in November and involves a high degree of scrutiny, All drivers will have to attend on the one day.
