Life Saving Report for

Management Meeting 18/12/2011

The First cycle of the roster is nearly complete, attendance has been good, with the majority of patrolling members organising a swap if the
can not attend.

The summer cycle of the roster is about to commence and with increased members the club will adequetly meets its patrolling obligations.

The roster will see changes in the post school holiday section as one patrol wil be removed due to poor member attendance, the revised roster
will sent to members very early in the new year.

Email and SMS has been sent to all membes on the roster for a voluntary 1:00 - 5:00pm christmas day.

Final 2 mals have been sent for repairs. The fine compacted sand is causing substantial damage to boards when they are dragged into the water
all members are being advised to carry the boards where possible.

Surf Guard is up to date, Tuesday training is filling out the log. JAG has been advised that all members doing water saftey should sign on.

The old "t" frames used to support the board flags are to be scapped as they present a serious risk of injury to young children.

Our patrol shelter is in serious need of TLC - the roof is rusting away and the table needs to be retreated.

Members with injury can to patrol but in passive roles only ie radio's and observation from the shelter. The duties they perform must not agrivate
their injury.
